Minutes of the January 17, 2008 Meeting.  
Meeting called to order at 8:05pm

Treasurer Report
$19,703.77 as of 12/31/2007
Still outstanding - Championship Saturday ; $2,064.03

Travel report
Currently 5 travel teams active
Red Bulls would like to come and speak at a future meeting

Registration
Discussion of how many in person registration days.
Saturday, April 12th 9am-12pm, Saturday, May  3rd,  9am-12pm
Checks will only be accepted at in person registration. Cannot be mailed in.
Fees will remain the same as last year $75 for the first child, $65 for each sibling thereafter.

Draft Date will be on or around June 16th/17th
Deadline for Registration – Midnight Sunday June 8th
Lisa Stefanelli makes a motion for a full refund before August  1st,
$35 refund before September 1st but after August 1st, No refund after September 1st.
Lou Di Riggi seconds the motion. 7 yes, 1 no. Motion passed.

Late Fees – Lisa makes a motion enacting a $50 late fee after the set deadline. George Olsen seconds the motion. All in favor.

Pictures – research other companies including the company we used 2 years ago.
Ask travel teams if they want pictures. Picture Day TBA

Referee Report
Nick will have 2 proposals for referee structure that will be emailed to the board before next meeting.

Discussion about training fee for referees, until they can ref on their own
Referee fees were way above estimate.
Rules committee – Nick Generelli, Manny Korkodilos, Geri Singer will go through the rules and make suggestions  to update.

Nick would like East Hanover to host another grade 9 referee course.

Compile a list of coaches and perspective coaches looking to play a weekly soccer match Sunday mornings. Need to ask Linda about liability and injury. Geri singer will get information.

CTO Report
Need to get a few grade levels fixed for the upcoming season.
To enable scheduling on the website $4.50 per team
Ability to assign games  $1.10 per team
Standings will be tallied automatically
Possibility of having sponsors logos on website

Looking to change meeting dates.

George Olsen will prepare a operating manual for Travel soccer. Will email the Board with proposal to be discussed at next months meeting.
